Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

To use BondSeekers, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater.
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
• Not be prohibited from using the Service under any applicable law.
• Not have been previously banned or removed from BondSeekers for violating these Terms.

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements.

2. Account Registration

• You must create an account using a valid email address and authenticate through our secure sign-up process.
• You may only maintain one account per person.
• All information provided during registration must be accurate, current, and complete.
• You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You agree to notify us immediately at support@bondseekers.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

3. Profile Requirements

• You must upload a minimum of 3 genuine photos of yourself that clearly show your face.
• Photos must not contain nudity, sexually explicit content, violence, hate symbols, or offensive imagery.
• You must not use photos of other people, celebrities, cartoons, or AI-generated images as your own.
• Profile bio, interests, profession, education, and other details must be truthful.
• We reserve the right to remove any profile content that violates these guidelines without notice.

4. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Conduct

You agree to use BondSeekers solely for lawful, personal, and non-commercial matchmaking purposes. You agree NOT to:

• Harass, bully, threaten, stalk, or intimidate any user.
• Post or transmit false, misleading, defamatory, or fraudulent content.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your identity, age, or affiliation.
• Send spam, chain letters, unsolicited promotions, or commercial solicitations.
• Upload or share sexually explicit, obscene, or illegal material.
• Attempt to collect, harvest, or mine personal information of other users.
• Use bots, scrapers, crawlers, or any automated means to access the Service.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any security feature, rate limit, or access control.
• Create multiple accounts or use the Service on behalf of another person without authorization.
• Engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the Service or servers.
• Solicit money, gifts, or donations from other users.
• Use the platform to promote any form of prostitution, escort services, or illegal activities.

5. Matching & Messaging

• Messaging is only available between users who have mutually liked each other ("matched").
• All messages must be respectful and comply with our community guidelines.
• We may monitor messages for safety purposes including automated scam and abuse detection.
• Messages that violate our policies may be flagged, removed, or reported to law enforcement if necessary.
• We reserve the right to remove or restrict messaging privileges for users who violate these Terms.

6. Location Services

BondSeekers offers location-based features including nearby profile discovery and interactive maps. By enabling location services:

• You consent to the collection and use of your location data as described in our Privacy Policy.
• Your approximate location may be visible to other users depending on your privacy settings.
• You can disable location sharing at any time through your profile settings.

7. Safety & Reporting

• We encourage users to report suspicious, abusive, or inappropriate behavior using the in-app report feature.
• All reports are reviewed by our moderation team, typically within 24 hours.
• You may block any user at any time; blocked users cannot see your profile or contact you.
• We cooperate with law enforcement when required or when we believe user safety is at risk.
• While we strive to maintain a safe environment, we cannot guarantee the identity, background, or intentions of any user. Always exercise caution when interacting with people online and meeting in person.

8. Intellectual Property

• The BondSeekers name, logo, design, code, and all content created by us are our exclusive property and protected by intellectual property laws.
• You retain ownership of the content you post (photos, bio text, etc.), but grant BondSeekers a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.
• You must not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any BondSeekers content without prior written consent.

9. Account Suspension & Termination

• We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in behavior that we deem harmful to other users or the platform.
• You may deactivate or delete your account at any time through Profile Settings.
• Upon deletion, your profile data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Some data may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or truthfulness of any user profile or content.
• We do not guarantee that you will find a match, partner, or any specific outcome from using the Service.
• We are not responsible for any interactions, meetings, or relationships that occur between users, whether online or offline.
• We do not conduct criminal background checks on users.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BONDSEEKERS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, PERSONAL INJURY, OR EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BondSeekers and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

• These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
• Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation.
• If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration administered in accordance with applicable arbitration rules.
• You agree to waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
